Broad Sky Partners has appointed Henry Elefter as a Managing Director and member of its Investment Committee, adding nearly two decades of investment experience as the New York firm expands across facility services, infrastructure services, and other essential services businesses.

Elefter will focus primarily on Broad Sky's Facility Services and Infrastructure Services verticals. His background spans industrials, business services, and infrastructure.

Where does Elefter come from?

Most recently, Elefter worked at Partners Group within its North American Direct Private Equity strategy. He previously held investment roles at Metalmark Capital and Global Infrastructure Partners.

Broad Sky expects him to source, evaluate, and support businesses tied to its core demand drivers:

  • Aging infrastructure
  • Increasing regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Grid modernization
  • Greater reliance on specialized outsourced service providers

His hiring strengthens the firm's senior investment leadership as Broad Sky targets companies positioned to benefit from changes in physical infrastructure and increasingly complex operational requirements.

What did the CEO say?

Tyler Zachem, CEO of Broad Sky Partners, framed the hire around the durability of Elefter's core themes: "Henry has spent his career building businesses around some of the most durable trends in the services economy: aging infrastructure, rising regulatory and compliance demands that are leading companies to seek specialized partners, and the ongoing modernization of the grid."

Who else joined?

Broad Sky also hired Varun Reddy as an Associate on its Investment Team. Reddy previously worked at Temasek in New York, where he focused on co-investment transactions.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce, with concentrations in Finance and Information Technology.

What is Broad Sky's strategy?

Broad Sky Partners is based in New York and invests in middle-market companies providing essential services. The firm uses a sector-focused investment approach centered on businesses benefiting from long-term demand drivers.

Its Portfolio Resource Group works with portfolio companies on operational and strategic initiatives intended to support growth.

The additions of Elefter and Reddy expand the investment team as Broad Sky continues developing its essential services strategy and targeting businesses supported by durable structural trends. The two hires signal the firm is building out capacity to chase deals in sectors where infrastructure spending and regulatory complexity keep creating demand for specialized service providers.
