Indian startups raised approximately $115 million across 28 funding deals from October 26 to October 31, 2026, according to Entrackr’s weekly funding report cited by News18.

Entrackr classified four transactions as growth-stage and 24 as early-stage. E-commerce companies produced the most deals, followed by AI startups. Bengaluru led the city count with 14 transactions, while Delhi-NCR ranked second.

News18 identified AI infrastructure company Simplismart and social-commerce platform Live2.ai as major recipients, with approximately $14 million each. Healthtech, gaming and e-commerce also attracted sizable rounds.

The week’s shape was early-stage volume, a broad sector mix and a strong Bengaluru tilt, with the city accounting for 14 of the 28 transactions.

What did Simplismart’s $14 million Series B fund?

Bengaluru-based Simplismart raised $14 million in a Series B round led by Dallas Venture Capital, according to News18. NVIDIA, Accel, Shastra VC and Micromax also participated.

  • Product: News18 said Simplismart develops software that helps businesses deploy and operate AI models more efficiently. Its platform manages AI inference workloads by balancing performance, infrastructure requirements and operating costs.
  • Adoption: Simplismart says businesses working across video, voice, multimodal and enterprise AI applications use its technology.
  • Use of funds: News18 reported that the financing will help the company expand its platform and strengthen its position in the AI infrastructure market.

The company has also reported significant growth in its annualised revenue run rate over the past six months. The source did not provide a revenue figure or valuation for the round.

Simplismart’s financing gives it more room to scale the infrastructure layer beneath enterprise AI deployments.

What will Live2.ai build with $14 million?

Live2.ai, also based in Bengaluru, raised around $14 million in a pre-Series B round led by IvyCap Ventures, News18 reported. The company develops an AI-powered platform focused on social intelligence and commerce.

The startup plans to direct the new capital toward four areas:

  • Expanding its AI agent platform.
  • Strengthening enterprise deployments.
  • Building cloud infrastructure across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
  • Increasing its workforce.

Live2.ai is using the round to broaden an AI-agent business into enterprise deployments and a three-region cloud footprint.

Which other startups raised $10 million or more?

News18 also highlighted three transactions outside AI:

  • Cent: The healthtech startup raised $15 million in a Series A round.
  • Matiks: The gaming startup secured $10 million in a pre-Series A round.
  • Troovy: The e-commerce brand raised $11.5 million in a Series B round.

Those rounds gave investors exposure to healthcare, gaming and online commerce alongside the week’s $14 million AI financings.

What does the week’s funding mix show?

News18 framed the activity as part of a broader push by Indian startups to build products and services around rising AI adoption. The report said investors are funding not only AI applications but also the infrastructure needed to deploy and operate those systems at scale.

The two AI rounds also reached different parts of the stack. Simplismart focuses on inference-workload management and operating efficiency. Live2.ai is building enterprise agents around social intelligence and commerce. E-commerce produced more transactions overall, but the $28 million committed to Simplismart and Live2.ai gave AI a substantial share of the capital in the week’s most prominent deals.

For the next funding cycle, the measurable checkpoints are Simplismart’s platform expansion and revenue-run-rate momentum, along with Live2.ai’s enterprise rollout and cloud buildout across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
