The 12th Ingenion Entrepreneurs Forum lands on Friday, 6 November, at the Jesús Cultural Centre in Ibiza, with a programme built around business leadership, entrepreneurship and artificial intelligence. Santa Eulària Town Council's Department of Training and Employment runs the event, and registration is already open through the Club de Feina website.

That's the frame. Now the practical question for anyone running or starting a business on the island: what does a one-day forum actually change for you?

What's on the agenda?

The programme covers decision-making under uncertainty, team management, innovation and the use of AI in business — the standard pain points for any operator, whatever the size of the venture.

Alongside the talks, three formats stand out:

  • 'Millor projecte emprenedor 2026' — a startup competition where finalists pitch their ideas to the room. Pitches start at 9.40am; the award ceremony follows at 1.35pm.
  • 'Roots & Future: Returning Talent, Inspiring Stories' — a session on young professionals who came back to the municipality to build their projects.
  • Networking plus comedy-business activities led by comedian and entrepreneur Gonzalo Jiménez.

The council frames the competition as a way to spotlight new business ideas, recognise their potential and help them grow. For early-stage founders, that 9.40am slot is effectively a free stage in front of a room of local operators and officials.

Who's speaking?

Albert Rivera delivers 'Entrepreneurial Leadership'. Rivera is a lawyer, consultant, investor and speaker; he's currently managing partner at consultancy RV+ and heads the leadership, communication and public speaking department at Utamed University. His talk targets the challenges of leading business projects, deciding in uncertain circumstances and building teams that can turn an idea into a working venture. He also promises practical tools for motivating teams, tackling business challenges and developing talent.

Yaiza Canosa presents 'Start Without Permission: The Courage to Turn Ideas into Opportunities'. The council calls her one of the notable entrepreneurs on Spain's business scene. Her track record is concrete: she launched her first company at 16, founded GOI Travel in 2015 — a firm specialising in the transport and assembly of bulky goods — and now leads Boudica Canosa, holding stakes in more than 15 companies across technology, electric mobility, digital education and property investment.

For practitioners, Canosa's session is the one with the clearest operator DNA. Fifteen-plus portfolio positions means she's seen failure modes across sectors, not just one.

What about the AI session?

Pablo Cebriá, CEO of Todoesdata, gives the talk 'AI Now, What Next?' ('IAhora, ¿qué?' in Spanish). The presentation examines real-world AI applications, the technology's impact on business and the changes it could drive in the coming years.

The stated goal is practical: give professionals and entrepreneurs answers they can use to bring AI tools into their businesses and day-to-day operations. If you've been circling AI adoption without a starting point, this is the forum's most directly applicable hour.

A nod to a century-old operator

The event closes a loop of sorts with a tribute to Licores Aniseta, a family-run business founded in 1925. The council will recognise its long-standing contribution to the Santa Eulària business community — a reminder, in a forum full of pitches, that some island businesses have been compounding for a hundred years.

Put simply: 6 November offers Ibiza's business community a single-day concentration of speakers, a pitch stage with a deadline-driven award, and an AI briefing pitched at operators rather than researchers. Registration is open now, and the finalists' slot at 9.40am is the part worth watching.
