MyComplianceOffice has secured growth financing of more than $100 million from Accel-KKR, the private equity firm focused on software and technology companies, FinTech Futures reports.
The deal gives the compliance software provider a substantial war chest at a moment when financial firms face mounting regulatory workloads across employee trading, conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment, and conduct risk.
Accel-KKR, which targets mid-market technology businesses, is backing a company whose platform automates the compliance processes that banks, asset managers and insurers traditionally handled through spreadsheets and manual reviews.
The financing size — in excess of $100 million — marks the company's largest capital raise to date, according to the FinTech Futures report.
Nine-figure growth investments in regtech remain relatively rare, and the deal signals continued private equity appetite for compliance infrastructure vendors serving regulated financial institutions.
The raise positions MyComplianceOffice to accelerate product development and market expansion at a time when compliance spend at financial firms continues to rise.
