Franchise India closed 30 franchise deals on the spot at its Pune Franchise Show on October 31, 2026, with more than 700 registered visitors filling Sayaji Hotel in Shankar Kalat Nagar, Wakad.

The one-day event pulled together high-end investors, master franchise brands, national and international franchise players, retail property owners and multi-brand operators under a single roof. The format was straightforward: structured networking that let investors negotiate directly with brands on master franchising rights, fractional ownership stakes and FOCO (franchise-owned, company-operated) models.

Which brands showed up in Pune?

The exhibitor list leaned toward food, beverage and consumer services. Participating brands included:

  • 5asec, the French garment-care chain
  • NASO and Neelkamal
  • Frumos Interio and Blenz
  • Spartan and Doner Shack
  • The Burger Company, Sabrosa and Happitea

For investors, the draw was deal variety. The platform let HNIs and multi-brand operators negotiate territory rights and ownership structures face to face, rather than through brokers. Thirty of those conversations converted to signed agreements the same day — a conversion rate of roughly one deal per 23 registered visitors.

What did Franchise India's chairman say?

Gaurav Marya, Chairman of Franchise India, called the event a success and pointed to the wider investor shift it reflects. "The event was a rousing success that generated strong business interest for investors, highlighting their growing interests in franchise-led business opportunities across sectors," Marya said. "The event created a powerful platform for HNIs, multi-brand operators and different national and international brands, creating long-term business networks, franchise partnerships, and new growth opportunities in the franchise sector."

How does Pune fit Franchise India's 2026 run?

The October show was the second Pune edition this year, and the numbers show an accelerating circuit. Franchise India hosted the earlier Pune Franchise Show on September 26, 2026 at Lemon Tree Premier. That edition drew 300 registered visitors and left more than 30 deals in the pipeline — business the organizer valued at INR 5 crore.

The momentum isn't Pune-specific. Franchise India's calendar for 2026 has produced similar results across cities:

  • Franchise Conclave Jaipur, September 26, 2026, The Lalit: 250-plus registered visitors, more than 10 deals in the pipeline, with brands including GIVA, Cult.fit, Geetanjali Salon, tbz, Karim's, Polaris, Palmonas and Zepto.
  • Franchise & Investment Conclave, September 13, 2026, Leela Ambience, Gurugram: 430 registered visitors, more than 100 HNI investors seeking investments over INR 1 crore, and 7 franchise deals in pipeline with a global brand.
  • Master Franchise Conclave Hyderabad, August 29, 2026, The Park Hotel: more than 500 attendees, with GIVA, Senco, Indriya, Doner Shack, easyGym and Barcelos among participants.
  • Master Franchise Conclave Mumbai, August 8, 2026, Courtyard by Marriott: more than 300 HNIs and investors, co-sponsored by easyGym and Global Franchise Forum, closing 26 on-the-spot investor registrations.
  • Delhi Franchise Show, January 17, 2026, Aerocity: over 50 brands met hundreds of investors, and Three o'clock India signed a Gurgaon outlet deal during the show.

Marya has been the consistent voice across the circuit. At Jaipur, he noted the event generated strong business interest for more than 25 investors and left more than 10 franchise deals in the pipeline. At the September Pune show, he said the event "reflects the growing momentum of franchising in India and highlights the immense potential the sector offers to brands, investors, and entrepreneurs alike."

What comes next?

The Pune numbers — 700 visitors, up from 300 at the same city's show a month earlier, and 30 same-day signings — point to a franchise market where investors are moving from browsing to committing at the venue itself. With the next Franchise India edition slated for Ahmedabad, per the organizer's announced schedule, the question is whether that on-the-spot deal pace holds outside the metro circuit.
