What's News

  • Bucketlistt.com raised Rs 7.6 crore in a seed round led by Kairon Capital.
  • The startup handled over Rs 22.5 crore in bookings in its first 10 months.
  • A June pre-seed round of Rs 1.07 crore valued the company at Rs 10.07 crore post-money.
  • OkGhumo, launched March 2026, has over 50,000 users; the marketplace has served 12,000+ customers.
  • All three founders are under 25; the first 100 customers came from posters in Rishikesh.

Travel experiences startup Bucketlistt.com has raised Rs 7.6 crore in a seed funding round led by Kairon Capital. Titan Capital, Divisa Family Office and Kunal Popat, founder of baby-products brand R for Rabbit, also joined the round, according to a report on the StartupFox website. The company has not disclosed its valuation.

The cheque is the company's second in under a year. In June, Bucketlistt.com raised Rs 1.07 crore in a pre-seed round that valued it at Rs 10.07 crore post-money.

Who is behind the company?

Three founders under 25 started the business: Shubham Makhecha, Nitant Desai and Divyam Shah. Makhecha and Desai are chartered accountants. Makhecha also holds a paragliding pilot certification and works as a trek leader.

The company was founded in 2025 and began operating in Rishikesh in December 2025. Its first 100 customers came from posters distributed across the town — a bootstrapped customer-acquisition tactic that cost little and produced the startup's initial traction.

What does Bucketlistt actually sell?

The startup helps travellers discover and book experiences rather than flights or hotel rooms. Its inventory includes adventure activities such as skydiving in Mount Abu and special offerings like dinner with royal families in Jaipur.

The choice of segment is deliberate. Flight and hotel bookings are already crowded markets. Bucketlistt targets the less explored part of the travel industry: experiences and activities. Rising disposable incomes are pushing more Indians toward unique travel experiences and lesser-known destinations, the report notes.

What is OkGhumo?

In March 2026, the company launched OkGhumo, a software platform for experience operators. Verified adventure operators use it to manage bookings, inventory, agents and payments. The software replaces manual workflows built on phone calls, WhatsApp messages and spreadsheets.

Together, Bucketlistt.com and OkGhumo have handled bookings worth more than Rs 22.5 crore in their first 10 months, according to the company.

How strong is the traction?

The numbers span both sides of the business:

  • Over 12,000 customers served on the Bucketlistt.com marketplace
  • More than 50,000 users on the OkGhumo software platform
  • Around 20% of Bucketlistt.com's customers now arrive through word of mouth

That word-of-mouth share matters for unit economics. A marketplace that acquires a fifth of its customers without paid marketing can spend less on discounts and ads as it scales.

The two-sided structure also gives the company a hedge. The marketplace earns from consumer demand for experiences; OkGhumo monetises the operators who supply them. If one side slows, the other keeps generating data and revenue.

What happens next?

The seed round gives the founders capital to widen the catalogue of experiences, deepen operator adoption of OkGhumo and push further into India's growing market for activity-based travel — a segment still short of a dominant national player.
