Entourage Ventures has closed its second fund at €100 million, overshooting its original €75 million target and locking in capital for roughly 25 pre-seed and seed-stage companies across Europe and beyond.

The firm said the vehicle was oversubscribed. It hit the €75 million target within two weeks of its first fundraising outreach, then kept going to a final close at €100 million. That pace is the kind most general partners spend months chasing.

The backing is entirely private. Entrepreneurs, family offices, and private investors supplied every euro of the fund — no institutional anchor, no corporate money, per the firm.

Where will the €100 million go?

Entourage Fund II will write initial investments of roughly €1 million to €5 million per company and expects to back around 25 startups in total. Target sectors include:

The check sizes and sector list signal where the firm thinks the earliest-stage opportunity sits: software plus increasingly capital-intensive categories like robotics, physical AI, and deep tech.

The strategy stays the same as the one that built the firm's record. Entourage said its approach remains centered on establishing conviction early, investing before businesses reach later stages, and letting founders keep substantial control of their companies. In plain terms: get in first, don't demand the wheel.

Who is Entourage Ventures?

The firm launched in 2024 and moved fast. Its early investments include Aikido Security, Conveo, and Lexroom — three names that anchor its pre-seed and seed credentials in European technology.

Fund II follows that initial investing period and, in the firm's words, significantly expands the capital available for the strategy. The larger vehicle gives Entourage substantially more capacity to participate in pre-seed and seed financing rounds.

That matters for a firm chasing robotics and deep tech, where a €5 million first check can vanish into hardware and R&D faster than it would in pure software.

How is the firm itself changing?

The fund's close comes with an organizational expansion. Entourage has added three people to its team: Erwan Gardelle, Sixtine Riescher Tuczkiewicz, and Illja Schiller.

It is also opening a new London office while keeping its presence in Paris. The two-city footprint positions the firm to source deals across the UK and continental Europe's two largest venture hubs.

Takeaway: a two-year-old firm just raised €100 million from private money alone, and it's staffing up in London to spend it.

What does this mean for European pre-seed founders?

For founders at the earliest stages of company formation, the math is straightforward. One fund, 25 slots, €1 million to €5 million per entry point, across AI, software, robotics, physical AI, and deep tech.

The commitment to founder control is the differentiator Entourage is leaning on. The firm's stated approach — conviction early, entry before later stages, founders keeping substantial control — reads as a pitch to founders wary of heavy-handed early investors.

With €100 million now deployed-ready and a bigger team to source and support deals, Entourage expects the vehicle to carry its early-identification strategy deeper into capital-intensive technology categories. The next signal to watch: which of the roughly 25 companies get the first checks.
