JuliaHub has raised $65 million in a Series B round led by Dorilton Capital, according to a Dealroom.co listing of the deal. AE Ventures also participated.
The round marks a significant capital injection for the company, which builds commercial products around the Julia programming language. Dorilton Capital, the London-based investment firm, took the lead position. AE Ventures joined as a participating investor.
Dealroom.co reported the transaction but did not disclose a post-money valuation, revenue figures or the intended use of proceeds. The listing also did not specify whether other existing shareholders re-invested.
The $65 million check makes this one of the larger recent funding rounds for a developer-tools company tied to a single programming language ecosystem. Whether JuliaHub deploys the capital toward product expansion, sales growth or strategic acquisitions remains to be seen, and the company has yet to detail its plans publicly.
