Larridin raised $30 million in a Series A round led by Pelion Ventures, lifting the San Francisco startup’s total funding to $47 million. The company said Andreessen Horowitz and Gradient Ventures participated as existing investors. New investors were GFT, W23, Thayer, DG Daiwa Ventures, New Hampshire’s Alumni Ventures and Cougar Capital.

What does Larridin measure?

Founded in 2024, Larridin runs an enterprise software platform that monitors AI adoption, productivity and spending across employees and automated systems. The platform connects data from AI applications with work performed across departments. Larridin says management teams can use that link to compare tool performance, identify usage patterns and find opportunities to reduce unnecessary spending.

The company also links AI usage data with business workflows and financial performance. The company says executives can then evaluate which AI applications generate measurable returns. The product connects those data sets in one system rather than treating usage as a standalone metric.

Russ Fradin, CEO of Larridin, said: “Enterprise AI has moved quickly from innovation budget to financial accountability, and our investors share our conviction that companies must be able to prove tangible business value from skyrocketing AI spend.” His assessment puts the financing against a specific customer requirement: proof of tangible business value from rising AI spending.

What results has Larridin reported?

Larridin says its platform has measured more than 2 billion AI sessions and tracked over 82,000 workflows. Across its customer base, the company reports a 47% average increase in measurable team output. It also reports a median $2.4 million in AI spending optimized within the first year.

The figures use an average for team output and a median for spending optimization. They place reported financial impact alongside the platform’s broader counts of AI usage and workflows.

Larridin introduced a quarterly Engineering AI Impact Report based on proprietary data from more than 1,000 engineers. Its third-quarter 2026 findings show AI-assisted pull requests increased from 35% in April to 62% in September. The report measures a development activity, while the company’s 47% output claim covers team output across its customer base.

Who leads Larridin?

Larridin describes Russ Fradin as a serial entrepreneur and enterprise technology executive with more than 25 years of experience building and scaling software and digital media businesses. Fradin earned a bachelor’s degree in economics at the Wharton School and began his career in digital media. He served as executive vice president of corporate development at comScore Networks.

In 2005, Fradin co-founded the online advertising platform Adify Corp. and served as chief executive until Cox Enterprises acquired it in 2010. He later co-founded Dynamic Signal, an enterprise employee communications platform, and led the company as CEO for nearly a decade. Dynamic Signal then merged with SocialChorus to form Firstup.

Fradin also served as vice chairman of Carbon Health. He held board positions at Udemy, comScore and TubeMogul.

What does Pelion bring?

Pelion Venture Partners, founded in 1986, focuses on early-stage technology companies. The firm works closely with portfolio companies throughout their development.

It draws on investment experience and a network of technology executives to support strategic planning, operational execution and business growth. Pelion says it combines capital with hands-on guidance and industry relationships. Those resources help founders scale their businesses and navigate key stages of commercialization.

What will the capital fund?

Larridin’s customer list includes SurveyMonkey, Vertiv, Klaviyo, Gainsight, Globality and EcoVadis.

Larridin plans to use the new capital to accelerate product development and expand its workforce. For enterprise buyers, the next test is whether Larridin can sustain its company-reported 47% output gain and $2.4 million median optimization as it scales the platform and its workforce.
