Hong Kong-based Omnichat has raised US$10 million in Series A funding to scale a platform that lets AI agents do the work of marketing, sales and service teams inside chat apps. Openspace Capital led the round. Darwin Ventures and Acorn Pacific Ventures also participated, the company announced on 27 October 2026.
That sum is modest by 2026 AI-funding standards, but the customer base is not: Omnichat says its platform already powers more than 5,000 global brands, including Dyson, FILA, Watsons, L'OCCITANE, VF Corporation, SMCP and Mead Johnson. No revenue figures, valuation or post-money terms were disclosed — a gap worth noting when a company claims enterprise traction at that scale.
What does the money fund?
Three stated uses, per the company:
- Scaling its Agentic AI platform
- Deepening R&D on Omni AI Agents
- Accelerating global expansion
Each is a promise, not a milestone. The company did not name target markets, headcount plans or timelines for the expansion, and the release offers no metrics on how the funds will be measured against outcomes.
What are Omni AI Agents?
Omnichat positions itself as an AI-native agentic customer experience platform. It unifies marketing automation, sales conversion and customer support through what the company calls its AI Social CRM ecosystem. The core product is Omni AI Agents, a suite launched in 2026 that the company describes as an autonomous digital workforce operating inside chat.
The suite has four components:
- OmniClaw, an AI business analyst that tracks customer behaviour, chat trends and store-level revenue attribution in real time
- AI Marketing Agent, which builds customer segments and generates complete messaging campaigns from a single prompt
- AI Sales Agent, which recommends products and closes orders inside the chat
- AI Customer Service Agent, which resolves customer enquiries 24/7
The pitch, in plain terms: one platform replaces separate tooling for campaigns, conversion and support, with agents executing rather than merely suggesting. Whether the agents genuinely close sales autonomously, or operate as assisted recommendations, is a distinction the announcement does not address.
Where does it run?
Omnichat's agents work across seven major messaging channels: WhatsApp, LINE, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, WeChat, KakaoTalk and TikTok. That reach matters commercially — consumers in Omnichat's core Asian markets transact heavily inside chat apps rather than on websites.
The company holds formal partner status with the platforms themselves. It is a Meta Business Partner, a WhatsApp Business Solution Provider, and a LINE Biz-Solutions Tech Partner. Those credentials reduce integration risk for enterprise buyers, though they also mean Omnichat's business depends on API terms set by Meta and LINE — a dependency the funding announcement, unsurprisingly, does not discuss.
Why now?
The round lands amid surging enterprise demand for agentic AI — software that acts rather than analyses. Omnichat's answer is vertical: agents built for conversational commerce, not general-purpose assistants. Its brand roster across retail, beauty and apparel suggests the thesis is landing with consumer-facing companies first.
The test ahead is execution. US$10 million must cover R&D on four distinct AI agents plus a global push, and the company will need to prove its agents deliver measurable revenue lift — the very attribution OmniClaw claims to track — before the Series B conversation begins.
