Tech Expo Gujarat 2026 expects more than 15,000 visitors and 250 exhibitors when it opens on 27 November 2026 at the Gujarat University Convention and Exhibition Centre (GUCEC), GMDC Ground, Ahmedabad. Twelve entrepreneurs are organising the three-day event as a non-profit initiative, with support from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat.

The numbers mark a sharp step up from the 2024 edition, which drew 8,000+ visitors and 125+ exhibitors. The organisers plan more than 25 speakers under the theme "Beacon of Rising Innovation & AI."

Who is speaking?

The announced lineup mixes technology founders, an FMCG veteran and a spiritual teacher. The organisers named:

  • Peter Vesterbacka – entrepreneur, investor and former "Mighty Eagle" of Angry Birds
  • Vaibhav Sisinty – founder of GrowthSchool and Outskill, focused on growth marketing and AI education
  • BK Shivani – spiritual teacher and prominent face of the Brahma Kumaris movement
  • Shri Chandubhai Virani – founder and director of Balaji Wafers Pvt. Ltd.
  • Pinal Dave – database performance consultant and author

Additional speakers and programme details will be published on the official Tech Expo Gujarat website.

What does the 2026 edition build on?

The 2024 event created a platform where technology companies showcased solutions and connected with businesses across industries. Participation and encouragement came from prominent business leaders, including Savjibhai Dholakia of HK Exports, Chitrak Shah of Shivalik Group, Shalin Sheth of Advait Energy Transitions and Ramesh Marand of Tridhya Tech.

The 2026 edition aims to expand participation, create more business opportunities and help organisations find practical technology solutions.

Which industries does the expo serve?

The organisers target six broad sectors:

  • Manufacturing, engineering and industrial automation
  • Retail, e-commerce and logistics
  • Healthcare and pharmaceuticals
  • Education and skill development
  • Agriculture, textiles and energy
  • Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity and enterprise software

Small and medium-sized enterprises, manufacturers, entrepreneurs and established businesses can explore new technologies, meet solution providers directly and identify ways to improve productivity and operational efficiency. Startups will get space to showcase products, engage prospective customers and investors, and build business relationships.

Why a non-profit model?

The twelve entrepreneurs behind the event share one stated goal: strengthen Gujarat's technology ecosystem and create more opportunities for technology companies and businesses. With state science department support, the initiative prioritises knowledge sharing, collaboration, innovation and wider technology adoption over commercial exhibition revenue.

The mechanism is simple matchmaking. The expo connects technology providers with businesses that need their solutions, bridging the gap between innovation and practical business outcomes.

What is at stake for Gujarat?

As artificial intelligence and automation reshape businesses worldwide, the organisers argue that adopting technology now matters for organisations of every size. The event aims to help businesses understand these changes, discover relevant solutions and meet the people building the next generation of technology.

With a growing exhibition floor, an expanding speaker list and participation expected from multiple industries, the organisers position the event as a contributor to Gujarat's emergence as a stronger hub for technology, entrepreneurship and innovation.
