Jaipur-based healthtech startup Aignosis has secured Rs 4 crore in a seed funding round led by Antler, Nikhil Kamath, and a group of angel investors, including Varun Dua and IIMA Ventures.
The newly raised capital will strengthen the company's AI-powered autism and developmental screening platform and expand its reach across India, according to the company.
Founded by Raksheet Jain and Divyansh Mangal, Aignosis raised its first funding round in 2024 from investors such as Rajneesh Bhandari and Amit Jain. Since then, the startup has completed the CDSCO regulatory process and obtained Class B certification. It was also selected for the Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First 2025 cohort.
How does the screening technology work?
Aignosis has built an AI-assisted screening solution for children between 16 months and nine years of age. Using a standard laptop and webcam, the platform records a short video session consisting of nine stimulus-based modules.
The system then applies computer vision to evaluate behavioural indicators, including:
- Gaze patterns
- Response to name
- Reactions to facial expressions
Based on the analysis, the platform generates a risk assessment report that highlights whether a child may require further clinical evaluation. The company is explicit about the tool's limits: it is intended for screening purposes and does not provide a medical diagnosis.
Where has Aignosis deployed its platform so far?
The startup follows a Clinic-in-Clinic deployment model and has rolled out its solution across more than 20 government Primary Health Centres in Rajasthan.
It has also built distribution partnerships with established healthcare players:
- Mankind Pharma's medical representatives support screening camps conducted alongside paediatricians across the country.
- Apollo Shines has begun working with Aignosis, which is set to introduce its screening services across approximately 125 schools.
What is the growth target?
According to the company, Aignosis has conducted over 8,000 screenings to date and is targeting at least 1 lakh screenings by the end of FY27.
Looking ahead, the startup plans to expand its presence into Punjab, NCR, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.
The combination of regulatory clearance, a Google accelerator slot and pharma-backed distribution gives Aignosis a delivery network that most seed-stage diagnostics tools lack — and the FY27 screening target will test whether that infrastructure can scale beyond Rajasthan.
