Capital Q Ventures, a Florida-based venture firm, has invested in Carryt, a Colombian logistics and fintech company, to bankroll its expansion across Latin America. The firms did not disclose financial terms.

The deal gives Carryt more than cash. Capital Q Ventures will supply capital formation assistance, strategic planning and operational support as the Bogotá-based company expands its logistics network, develops its technology and grows its financial services arm.

What does Carryt actually do?

Carryt runs last-mile delivery, warehousing, route optimization and distribution services for consumer packaged goods companies, retailers and e-commerce businesses. Its software connects consumer brands with small merchants, squeezing more efficiency out of distribution across a fragmented retail landscape.

The company operates in four countries: Colombia, Mexico, Brazil and Chile.

Growth has come partly through acquisitions:

  • 2024: Carryt bought Treggo's operations in Colombia and Mexico.
  • Late 2025: It acquired Paket, a Chilean e-commerce logistics platform.

Both deals strengthened Carryt's regional delivery network and widened its footprint in small-business and e-commerce logistics.

How big is the prize?

Carryt sizes its opportunity at more than 12 million small merchants across Latin America, representing an estimated $500 billion in commercial opportunities. The company is building financial products for businesses inside its logistics network and plans to expand its fintech credit portfolio.

That dual model — moving goods and extending credit — mirrors how logistics operators in other emerging markets have converted delivery relationships into lending relationships.

"Carryt is addressing a significant challenge in Latin America's supply chain by connecting consumer brands with millions of small merchants who have historically faced barriers to efficient distribution and financial services," said Michael Quatrini, founder and CEO of Capital Q Ventures.

What does the investor bring?

Capital Q Ventures, headquartered in Maitland, Florida, provides investment management, capital formation and operational support to emerging and growth-stage companies. Under the deal, it will work directly with Carryt's management on business development, fundraising and strategic initiatives — including expansion into additional markets and investment in Carryt's technology platform.

"Capital Q Ventures brings more than access to capital. Their experience in business development, planning, and capital formation will help us strengthen our foundation for scale," said Daniel Cuervo, founder and CEO of Carryt.

Carryt's investor base is not limited to the Florida firm. Plug and Play, the global venture capital firm, is also a backer.

The investment backs Carryt's strategy of combining logistics infrastructure, software and financial services to tackle distribution challenges for businesses across Latin America. If the credit portfolio scales alongside the delivery network, the undisclosed round could prove a small bet on a very large map.
