Six Lawmakers Relaunch Bipartisan Entrepreneurship Caucus

Six members of the U.S. House of Representatives have relaunched the Bipartisan Entrepreneurship Caucus, according to an official release from Congressman French Hill's office.

The co-chairs are Representatives French Hill (R-AR) and Marc Veasey (D-TX). They are joined by four vice chairs: Roger Williams (R-TX), Suzan DelBene (D-WA), David Schweikert (R-AZ), and Don Beyer (D-VA).

The caucus structure splits leadership evenly between the two parties. Hill and Veasey serve as co-chairs, while Williams, DelBene, Schweikert, and Beyer hold vice chair positions. This gives the group three Republicans and three Democrats at the top.

The relaunch restores a House caucus dedicated to entrepreneurship and the interests of startup founders and small business owners. Caucuses in Congress function as informal member organizations that convene around shared policy interests, hold briefings, and advance legislation relevant to their focus areas.

Congressman French Hill represents Arkansas's 2nd Congressional District. His office published the announcement of the relaunch.

The involvement of Roger Williams is notable given his position as chairman of the House Small Business Committee, which oversees legislation affecting small firms and entrepreneurs. Suzan DelBene, who represents Washington's 1st Congressional District, brings a perspective from a district adjacent to one of the country's most concentrated technology and startup hubs.

David Schweikert of Arizona and Don Beyer of Virginia round out the leadership team. Both have previously engaged on tax and innovation policy issues relevant to growing companies.

For the business community, the relaunched caucus creates a designated point of contact in the House for entrepreneurs, investors, and startup advocacy organizations seeking to shape federal policy. Its bipartisan leadership structure signals an intent to advance founder-friendly legislation with support from both parties.
