U.S. Chamber Endorses Rep. Mike Ezell for Mississippi's Fourth District

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has endorsed Rep. Mike Ezell for reelection in Mississippi's Fourth Congressional District, throwing the weight of the world's largest business organization behind the incumbent Republican.

Clark Jackson, Senior Director of the U.S. Chamber's southeastern regional office, announced the endorsement and framed it as a reward for a record aligned with the Chamber's agenda.

"The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is proud to endorse Congressman Mike Ezell for reelection in Mississippi's Fourth Congressional District," Jackson said. "Rep. Ezell has been a steadfast champion for the small businesses, manufacturers, and job creators that power the Gulf Coast economy. He has consistently supported pro-growth tax policies and fought for the permitting reforms businesses need to build and grow. His commitment to common-sense, business-friendly policies makes him a valuable ally for the business community, and we look forward to continuing our work with him."

The Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who it says will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.

Ezell, in turn, cast the endorsement as validation of his legislative record on regulation, workforce development, and infrastructure.

The endorsement drew support from the state's business lobby. John McKay, President and CEO of the Mississippi Business Alliance, tied the Chamber's decision to Ezell's standing with employers across the state.

For Ezell, the endorsement adds an established national advocacy network to his corner ahead of the Fourth District race. For the business community on the Gulf Coast, the Chamber's announcement signals that permitting reform and pro-growth tax policy will remain the yardsticks by which it measures the district's representation in the next Congress.
